Last week was Matt's family employee work party. We were thrilled we were able to go this year, as in year's past it was always held when the kids were already back in school. The sad part is Matt had to work at it. It was a pool party at his hotel so at least he was able to pop out now and then and see us.
The kids had a blast in the pool. Someone was a little too brave in the deep end for me with only a tiny little float keeping her up.
They had all kinds of delicious food...ribs, chicken, burgers, dogs and salads. Someone just wanted to frequent the dessert table all day.
Besides the pool they had this huge water slide/obstacle course. All the kids loved this, and went on it over and over.
They had all kinds of games and prizes given throughout the day. When Kelsey heard they were giving away $50 to the adult who won the water slide obstacle course she was all in. She made it to the final four before getting knocked out.
Sadi tried her hips at the hula hoop contest.
I even got Matt to come out and play the water balloon toss with me. We got second place. Although I'm pretty sure that last throw that landed on my face was a set up. I think he didn't want to get his work clothes wet....cheater? Maybe.
It was a fun party. I just wish Matt could have spent more time enjoying the party with us. Felt a little backward that he worked so hard so that we could play.

Looks like a pretty fun party. Too bad they can't give all the employees time off to enjoy.
