Wednesday was crazy hair day..I gotta say this was my favorite, I wish we could have crazy hair day everyday!

In case your wondering...

Just in case any of you have ever wondered if you could empty your toilet bowl without using a plunger or if you have ever wondered if the water in your toilet could flood your bathroom floor without being flushed.....WELL, thanks to Sadi I NEVER have to wonder about either of these things. One afternoon while I ran to the store (I did not leave her unattended) she discovered you could dip your socks in the toilet, fill them up with toilet water (yes gag reflex) and squeeze it all over the floor! But why stop there when I came home she was squeezing it on Chase's head! Ewww!
So there you go, now if you are without a plunger or just need a quick fix me up take off your socks and dip away!!

Valentines Day

Valentines is my favorite holiday, however this year it seemed more like a normal day. Sadi had her party at pre-school while I was in Texas and Chase didn't really have a party they celebrated the 100th day of school the Friday before. He did take his valentines to school for his class as well. We made little valentine airplanes. A pack of smarties, a stick of gum I covered with valentine paper, and life saver wheels tied together with a rubber band. We also added a banner that said Happy Valentines day. They turned out really cute!
I had made valentine sundaes for the teachers. These I loved!! Chase was soo excited to give his Valentine to his teacher.
Since I had just got home from the SB I just wasn't in full planning mode so I did what I could with what I had to make the kids a fun lunch. PB&J in a hearth shape, heart strawberries, yummy yogurt, and love bugs on a log (m&m's on celery w/ peanut butter).Tricked them into eating veggies!!
Matt called and asked me to go to dinner when he got off work so, I threw out my valentine meal for us and threw a quick dinner together for the kids. I had bought a few goodies for them that I told them they couldn't have until after they finished their dinner.Kelsey made them a heart pizza,
they toasted with sparkling cider, and then dove into their sweet treats!!At dinner I gave Matt the valentine I had been working on for him. I used a deck of cards to make him a little book of 52 reasons why I love him. I put in things that I knew we would both laugh at and also some more on the serious side.
Here are some that were in his book....
I think he liked it!!

Deep in the heart of TEXAS

Howdy Y'all! That's Texan for I'm back!! I was once again lucky enough to be able to go work at the Superbowl. This year of course it was in Texas. It was a looong 22 days!! I think everyone who works there needs like one day between that, and going home (kind of like detox). Although I did not take as many pictures as I would have liked, here are some highlights... The stadium is pretty cool. I was able to go in and check it out one of the first days there. Looking down on the field...
Although I despise this picture, Kelsey made me post it just to prove I was there (yeah Kelsey ya got me I really took a trip for 3 weeks by myself to an exotic top secret location).
Standing on the 50 yard line.
Looking up at the massive video screen, I think it spans from the 20 yard line to the 20 yard line. It is huge!!!
We also checked out the Dallas Cowboys locker room. They said each of these lockers cost 10 grand.
Inside the locker room they have two large T.V. 's the players can watch.
I had mentioned walking by the cheerleaders locker room that my daughter watched that reality show about the Dallas cheerleaders. So my co-workers insisted I get some pictures for her.
Funny thing was I got my one photo and was waiting on them to finish taking photos. Take a look why....
Each Cheerleader has a life size photo of them above their locker. Now that I have detoxed on Texas (mostly). I can say there are a handful of things I will miss.
Ahhh that nice comfy bed all to myself. Not that I mind sharing a bed with Matt but you do get accustomed to sleeping right in the middle with ALL the covers.
Mmmm hot ready made breakfast!! Nothing like waking up and having breakfast ready for you.
And in case you forgot where you are, it's also a map, ha! Best boss ever, a.k.a. John. Now the only one who bosses me around is 3 feet tall with a huge attitude!!
Good friends! I had the best time with them! Somehow I only got a picture with one (Troy), I promise there were lots more, I'm not making them up! That being said, there are quite a few things I won't be missing about Texas....ICE STORMS! Wouldn't be so bad if they owned any plows or salt trucks, but they don't! I guess they really like to do everything bigger in Texas... bigger accidents, bigger idiots on the road..you get the idea. I also won't be missing cold showers. Nothing like coming back in from the cold to take a nice icy shower!! I do have some great memories, however as leaving the airport someone said to me Y'all come back now, to which my reply.....ehhhh.
