So I have been here in Ft. Lauderdale for 3 days now, and have decided driving here is definitely not fun!! Day 1 got lost coming to the hotel from the airport took me 2 times as long to get here as it should have. Day 2, got chased off the road by a guy on a bullet bike who was pretending to shoot me with his fake gun! Day 3(today) got rear-ended at a red light by some old lady! So far I am not loving Florida!!! So sadly the first pictures I HAD to take here were for the insurance company. Ever said to yourself hate to be that guy? Well, it's a she and she is driving this beater.... So, if your in South Florida(don't be unless you are not over here in the ghetto), watch out for a lady driving this truck she doesn't stop at red lights!!!
P.S. I am fine, and hope to be able to blog about something fun soon!!

Saying Goodbye...
Well, Tomorrow I am off to Miami for almost three weeks to work at the Superbowl! I think I have finally finished packing (that is until I find something else lying around that Sadi secretly snuck out of my suitcase) again! Little stinker! The kids gave me a cute dance performance tonight to send me off and they made a paper chain with the amount of days I will be gone so they can rip one off each day until I come home. ..sweet. I know they are secretly excited that Daddy is going to be in charge and has promised them parties every day. I say good luck!! I will miss them(okay probably not right away), I will miss the funny things they say. Some examples from this week:
SADI: Got mad at me and said "you better watch it (while pointing her finger at me violently) Santa's watching you!" (Yeah I guess she still doesn't know what morning he will be showing up for again).
CHASE: While at the library (during story time) we were making a craft and the teacher asked if anyone had a question about what we were making, Chase raised his hand and with no confidence in me asked loudly "Is my Mom doing this right?"
KELSEY: The teenager who know everything and is always right said "Hey what's that guys name off the show Chuck called?" (Uhhh that would be Chuck!)
These are the things I will miss! And yes, if you are reading this Matt (that means you are super bored or the kids are running things) I will miss you, Love you guys!

Good Morning
So I have been trying to get Chase to sleep in, Sadi has been happy to sleep in until 8:00 ever since Kelsey was off for Christmas break. I am soo loving that. HOWEVER, Chase cannot seem to sleep in whether you let him stay up super late or put him to bed early. So I keep telling him we need to sleep in until 8:00. It was working for awhile he would come in and say it's time to get up and I would say it's not 8 yet go back to bed. Well smarty boy now knows all his numbers!! Soo what I felt to be way to early this morning when he climbed into bed with me and said hey Mom, it's 8 see it on the clock I knew it couldn't be true it was still dark. I roll over to see the clock reading 5:38! He did get the 8 just on the wrong end of the clock! I should have just got up then because the talking just continued until 8, I tried to reason with him that it was in fact only 5 but he just continued to talk, talk, talk! So here is my plan, I am now going to see if I can get him to read the clock in the kitchen in the morning, what do you think?
Ha, I still have a few tricks!

Armed and Ready
So I am officially ready now to start potty training Sadi....I think. She really hasn't shown that much interest so ready or not here we go! I think I have everything I need (ha ha we all know it seems to take more bribery than this but hey, it's a start). New Panties, cool pull-ups, sticker potty chart, potty wipes, and most important chocolate! Only missing the pony right? Wish us luck!

Happy New Year!
It's here! We had a fun...Late night last night and I am still recovering! Woke up with a sore throat and cough..yuck! We had lots of yummy food, played games, and read our new years predictions from last year..pretty funny! I started writing down our predictions for the new year a few years ago and type them up for us to read at the end of the next year. We also made predictions for the year 2010 and I am working on a time capsule for that! More to come on that! Hope you all had a fun night and a happy healthy 2010!!
