A Mad Halloween

This year for Halloween it was madness, in the fun way.  We had a mad scientist, and a crazy mad Dr.
Sadi is pretty creative, and I'm not sure where or how she comes up with her ideas but every year she knows right away what she wants to be.  She's always specific on exactly what she needs to have.  She told us she needed lots of pockets for her pens/pencils, and a clipboard (which she did have).  She said scientists don't really care what their hair looks like since they are in the lab all day so therefore the crazy hair.
She had lots of test subjects including this neon rat that was test subject #10,567.
Chase wanted to be some character from Five nights at Freddy's but I turned down the offer for me to buy him a $50 costume.  We pulled down the Halloween costume box and he found this fake knife and Dr. outfit and quickly put together this crazy Dr.  Although we bought some fake blood, he decided that he didn't want to get any on him in case it was "too annoying".
Sadi had a parade and party at school and Chase attended the school dance after school.  Matt made it home early enough to eat dinner and go trick-or-treating with us which was a great treat.  These two were excited to hit the streets in our new hood.
Although there are still lots of new homes being build around us, those houses that were home were not shy about giving out the candy, and I mean by the handfuls.  Our local sheriffs department also lit up the streets handing out candy.
Just a little over an hour and just a couple of streets and we were ready to head home and do the "dump".
Besides the major candy score, they got popcorn cones, fidget spinners, and Sadi and I got a pair of Lularoe pants from a lady down the street.  It was a sweet night!
