Lego Coach

This year Chase was chosen to be on Dayton Intermediates first ever Lego Robotic Team.  He has spent many hours after school working with his team to prepare for competition that took place this past weekend.  It was an early morning on Saturday starting at 6 a.m.
Because Chase has been a coder for the past two years he was chosen to be a Coach and teach two new students how to code.  It's pretty fun to watch him being the "teacher".
They chose the name D.I.R.T. (Dayton Intermediate Robotics Team).  Their team consisted of 6 students and two teachers.
Once it was their turn at the table Chase was in charge of coaching what codes they should use, and help with time management.  I know it was hard for him not to be hands on but he really was a great coach.
He was also good to help explain how some things work to his coach's who had many questions for him.
All his time and dedication paid off and his team advanced to the next competition that will take place in January in Reno.
