Since our elves have been back they have been very busy at night getting into all kinds of mischief. Some bad...like the morning we woke to find them with frosty and a note that read : do you want to melt a snowman?
I'm thinking that they must have gotten in trouble with Santa for that one, because the following morning they had written an apology letter. Thank goodness, no one should play with matches, that will put you on the naughty list for sure.
It hasn't all been bad though, we have had some "sweet" moments as well, like the morning they hid some candy canes.
I'm sorry to say that it wasn't always the elves that were being bad, our kids had been fighting so much it sent our elves on strike. They did not return for a few days.
Poor Chase had been telling us one day about a nightmare he had about one of the elves having a knife. Our elves must have thought it would be funny to be waiting for him to wake up the following day...
We have certainly missed Jangle as he has been at Kelsey's dorm making sure she's being good, but it has been fun to see the pictures she sends us to see what he has been doing. Sweet little guy made her breakfast one morning.
I guess he must have caught the studying bug, and was reading all about Mammals and taking notes for her about reindeer, and elves.
I think he was excited to see it snowed there, and was ready to go out in wolf pack gear.
He also made sure to wish her luck on finals.
We woke this morning to find Jangle had returned home with our other elves. They have brought with them a box, and letter for the kids with strict instructions NOT to open it until after school (and of course not until Kelsey arrives home). I can't wait to see what's inside!
