Pumpkin Carving

Sadi has been asking ever since we brought her pumpkin home from her field trip when she could carve it.   Because we have been so busy, our pumpkin carving did not happen until the night before Halloween.  She must have been thinking about what she wanted because this girl got right to work carving that pumpkin face.
I'm not sure Chase actually enjoys carving pumpkins.  This was his face most of the time while doing it, and asking "is that good enough?"
Sadi's finished creation was inspired by one of her monster high dolls, Draculara.  Complete with vampire fangs and a heart on the cheek of course!
Chase's pumpkin was a scary Frankenstein.  He did get all the stitches on the face which were very detailed, but hard to see in a picture.
All lit up on the porch awaiting trick-or-treaters, and hoping to avoid being eaten by the wild horses.
