Part of our Thanksgiving weekend included Matt and I going the big game...in Nevada that means the final college football game of the season. We were both pretty excited the final game UNR would be playing was against BYU. So, Saturday we headed out to Mackay Stadium. Oddly enough this is the first time either of us had been to this stadium.
We had planned on it being so cold this weekend, but it turned out to be a gorgeous day, I think it was low 60's, which is ridiculously weird for being November 30th. Our seats were great, 5th row on the 40 yard line.
While hitting the concessions we literally ran into the players heading out onto the field. I gotta say our players looked like middle school players compared to the BYU players...seriously who is BYU #99? He is huge!
The stands were a sea of Blue, and we were all hoping the right "blue" would win. Sadly they did not, but shockingly it wasn't a beat down and we only lost by 5...apparently we don't know when to take a time out?
It was a fun date and maybe next year if Kelsey is attending the University we might catch a few more!

Good game, depending on which is the "right blue". I have BYU in my blood, although I don't necessarily bleed blue [my parents are another story;] Either way, it looks like a super fun date!!
