Girls day out

This week Chase had a birthday party at a friends house, so Sadi and I had a few hours to ourselves. All this girl wanted to do was to go eat Pizza. So we headed over to Rountable for lunch. This is the first time I have had a sit down lunch out with my girl. This girl can eat!! They even made a special cheese pizza for her at the buffet..she knows how to work everyone! It was really fun and she is quite entertaining. We talked about her favorite things and were having lots of fun until her imaginary parents showed up and stole the rest of the day! She continued to talk to her "mommy" and "daddy" for the rest of the lunch and as silly as it was she insisted I talk to them as well. Ever talked to your imaginary self during a meal in public? She is so funny, but we had lots of fun!!

Nothing spells love like...

D-O-N-U-T-S.....or so Daddy thinks. I am still struggling to get the little kids to listen to me after being gone for 3 weeks. I know they all gained a few pounds while I was gone and I am trying to get them to eat a little healthier. So what does fun Daddy bring home for the weekend? These delicious treats...GREAT!Might I add he picked these up after his doctors appointment where the Dr. suggested he loose a few pounds! Yeah this is not going to help. My personal favorite the donut slathered in frosting and they just had to add the gummy worm on top (really?). Some of you may remember me complaining about Chase getting up to early well this has been like a new alarm for him...6 a.m. "Mommy can I have a donut?.....followed by Daddy let me have 2 for breakfast when you were gone!". I am starting to think Daddy had a harder time than I suspected and this is his way of punishing me!!

Fun in Florida...

Well, I am back! Got back in town late Thursday night after being in airplanes and airports for 12.5 hours!! Now that the house is somewhat back in order (I have accepted the fact that it will take much longer for the kids to listen to Mommy once again) I am quickly remembering how much FUN I did have in Florida, here are just a few....Sticking my toes in the ocean (it is weird now to think that just a week ago I was enjoying the beach). It is beautiful!Watching the unveiling of the field for Superbowl Sunday, pretty awesome! Watching the teams arrive to play (although you can't tell these are the Saints),Seeing the view of the Stadium on Game day,

Watching the jets fly overhead right before the game started,

Seeing the firework display at halftime,

Trying out the look of the Arizona Cardinals,

Meeting Larry Fitzgerald(don't let the shirt fool you, this guy is BUILT),

Most of all I miss the friends I reacquainted with and some new ones I met while I was there.

I had a great time, but now it is back to reality! Mac N Cheese, dirty diapers, cleaning, laundry, the list goes on and on.....and I love it!!!

Office with a view...

So here is a picture of what I get to look at every day out here in Florida from our office (AKA trailer in the parking lot). This was taken a few day ago when there was actually blue skies (and 80 degree weather). Yesterday was dark and a downpour all day!!! We got 8 inches of rain! It is suppose to keep raining...I thought this was the Sunshine state? Pro-Bowl is over, it was crazy busy. One event down and the big one still ahead!
